Overview

Mary Willis White is a Partner in K&F’s Commercial Real Estate Transactions Group and represents owners, operators, and investors on a wide variety of complex and high profile transactions in the New York market and across the country.

Mary Willis is highly accomplished at efficiently and expeditiously closing sophisticated transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, and leasing of office, hotel, retail, multifamily, and mixed-use properties. She also represents borrowers in mortgage and mezzanine financings, including balance sheet and securitized loans. Clients rely on Mary Willis to provide pragmatic advice and guidance at each step of a transaction. As trusted counsel to many of the firm’s long-standing clients, Mary Willis partners with them across the life cycle of a property – from purchase, to lease, to sale, to the next investment.

“Real estate is personal; the focus may be on properties and development, but it’s still really about people – investors, developers, and tenants alike. I like seeing what excites my clients, how we can help them implement their vision for a property.”

Mary Willis sits on the firm’s Management Committee, oversees the firm’s Summer Associate program, and spearheads the firm’s mentorship program, ensuring that law clerks and new associates receive access to comprehensive training and career development resources.

Prior to her law career, Mary Willis co-founded a professional theatre company, Heiress Productions, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to raising cancer awareness and funds through professional theatre. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Catskill Mountain Shakespeare, a non-profit focused on providing accessible theatre to residents and visitors of the Catskills.
