Overview

Matthew Budofsky is an Associate in K&F’s Commercial Real Estate Lending Group and focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactional matters in the New York metropolitan area. Matthew skillfully represents both institutional and private lenders in commercial real estate lending and transactional matters, with a focus on financing the acquisition and construction of commercial properties. From inception of the transaction through closing, Matthew advises on complex issues related to the purchase, sale, development and financing of mixed-use, multifamily, office, shopping center and industrial properties.

Matthew received his B.A. from SUNY Cortland in 2013. He attended and received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and participated in various extracurricular activities including serving as a Business Manager on the Journal of Law and Policy. Matthew has been named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers ® list of Rising Stars, 2021.

Representative Matters

  • Represented a lender in making a $287MM construction loan on a 10-property portfolio in Santa Monica, California.
  • Represented an agent in a $17.3MM construction loan for the construction of a boutique hotel property in Suffolk County, New York.
  • Represented a lender in making a $12MM acquisition loan secured by an office building in Miami Beach, Florida.
