Our Real Estate Finance and Lending Group is comprised of dedicated attorneys with a broad range of complex, high profile lending experience in New York and throughout the United States, who actively work to structure complex real estate loans to meet our client’s goals, and who are well versed in senior and junior mortgage loans, bridge loans, construction loans, mezzanine loans, collateral financing, and preferred equity.

We represent institutional lenders, hard money financiers and private equity firms in loan originations involving a wide array of property types, including retail, residential and commercial condominium, cooperatives, office, multifamily rental, industrial, and hotel projects, and counsel our clients through the entire process of structuring, negotiating and documenting each particular loan. Our attorneys also have substantial experience in negotiating and drafting co-lender, inter-creditor and participation agreements, and work closely with other lenders and investors in structuring agreements to best protect our clients.

We work seamlessly with our firm’s Litigation Group in structuring and drafting loan modifications, forbearance agreements and workouts, and with our firm’s Transactional Real Estate Group in the debt portion of complicated real estate acquisitions on behalf of our clients, ensuring that all facets of our client’s transactions are comprehensively covered, thereby maximizing the value of any representation undertaken by our firm.
